Weekly Community Events:

Community Soup Night at the Senior Center – Tuesdays 4:00 to 7:00:

Enjoy a delicious dinner with neighbors and friends at the Tobacco Valley Senior Center.
Time and food donated by local organizations. Free, but donation of $5 is requested.

Farmer's Market – Wednesdays 4:00 to 6:30 from late May through the Summertime:

Fresh, locally-grown vegetables, baked goods, local arts & crafts and some fine music. A great place to meet up with people!

Rails to Trails Fundraiser:

Do the Trail!!! Registration by Donation and get sponsors to support you. Walk, bike or run the Trail to help the Sunburst Foundation maintain Rails to Trails. Registration is at the Sunburst booth in Riverside Park.

Ten Lakes Snowmobile Club Fun Run and Benefit – 1st Saturday

Fun for the whole Family!

The annual Ten Lakes Snowmobile Club Fun Run and Benefit takes place in the Grave Creek/Therriault Lakes Area and finishes up at Jerry's Saloon in Fortine.
Lots of fun, prizes & raffles! Benefit for grooming trails in the Grave Crk/ Ten Lakes area and other local charitable organizations.

Ryan Wagner Memorial Ice Fishing Derby – 2nd or 3rd Saturday

This ice fishing derby is FUN for the whole family! Door Prizes!!! Raffle tickets for great prizes.
Breakfast, lunch, hot drinks for purchase at family friendly prices.
Proceeds go to the Ryan Wagnor Memorial Scholarship of 2 $1000 scholarships for Lincoln County High School grads.

Friends of the Shelter Winter Warmer Fundraiser - 4th Saturday

Support your furry friends, the 4-legged ones, at the Annual Winter Warmer Fundraiser.
Takes place at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Tickets available in advance from Mountain Vista Veterinary or the Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter and at the door. Call 297-5457 or find and Like the Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter on Facebook for more information.

VFW Annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner - March 17th

Kootenai Valley Rangers Fundraiser - 4th Saturday

Help out our Rangers baseball team at their Annual Fundraiser! Silent Auction, dinner and music.

April

Spruce up the Valley Day – Saturday before Rendezvous Weekend

Show your pride for our beautiful home by pitching in to spruce up the town and surrounding areas. Starting at 9:00 you can pick up bags from the Glacier Bank outdoor plaza and then go forth and clean, clean, clean. Remember to separate your recyclables (plastic and metals) from the trash.
Lunch will be provided. Participants will qualify for some great prizes!

Rendezvous Weekend - last weekend in April

Welcome to Rendezvous weekend in Eureka!!! Start Friday at the kick-off event with music and food. Then blaze into Saturday at the Senior Center's breakfast, take your place downtown for the parade at noon, then spend the rest of the day roaming around town visiting vendors and digging the western scene. Trash-2-Flash Recycled Fashion Show - 3rd Saturday:

The Annual Trash-2-Flash Recycled Fashion Show fundraiser for your Creative Arts Center!
Dinner begins at 5:30, Beer & Wine and nonalcoholic beverages available for purchase.
The Show begins at 7:00. Local artists turn materials that would have gone into the landfill (Trash) into outrageously incredible outfits (Flash) that are danced down the runway for your enjoyment. A fabulous fun-filled evening of entertainment for the whole family...this ain't any ordinary fashion show!
Music during intermission by the Montana Cardboard Band...a tight group of musicians playing on cardboard instruments made by the fabulous Ray Jacobs. There is a silent auction of really cool stuff made from recycled items and the outfits will also be auctioned off.

June

Dance Recital of the Creative Arts Dance Studio - weekend in early June:

The Creative Arts Dance Studio presents it's annual Recital at the Lincoln County High School Auditorium.
Sponsored by the Creative Arts Council

Amish Auction – second weekend in June:

Amish Auction on the West Koootenai. Lots of crafted items and food for sale. Fundraiser for the West Kootenai school.

July

Summertime Festival & Paws for Pancakes – Saturday at end of June or beginning of July 4th:

Breakfast fundraiser for Friends of the Shelter starts at 8:00 am
. Music all day. Vendors, food, brew by HA), and lots of fun family & kid activities.

Rodeo - 4th Friday and Saturday:

Lincoln County Fairgrounds
Cowboys and cowgirls, kids on sheep, cattle wrestling and expert horsemanship....everything you expect in a western Rodeo. Check out the Tobacco Valley Rodeo Association's page on visitNWmontana.com for information.

Don Fornall Memorial Team Rope and Barrel Racing – 4th Sunday:

Held at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Come to compete or watch the excitement.

August

Roodell Run – 1st Saturday:

5k Run, 5k Walk, or 10k Run. Join in on the fun and honor a great running legacy in the Tobacco Valley.
This run supports the Eureka Cross Country Team. All ages welcome!

Fiberfest -1st Friday and Saturday:

Held at Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Demonstrations of fiber techniques. Vendors with materials for sale.

Eureka MT Quilt Show -1st Saturday:

Eureka's Quilt Show is “a sight that will take your breath away.” In the Historical Village and along Main Street, Eureka, quilts sway in the breeze creating a brilliant, lively extravaganza that truly should not be missed. Come visit this spectacular event as Eureka celebrates traditional fiber artistry.

Shakespeare in the Parks – an evening in mid-August:

Bring a blanket, lawnchair, & friends and family to enjoy a play in the Historical Village performed by the Montana Shakespeare in the Parks troupe.
Sponsored by the Sunburst Foundation.

The Lincoln County Fair - 4th weekend:

Thursday – Sunday we'll meet you at the Fair! Vendors, information booths, food, music, displays of artwork, quilts, animals. Hey...it's everything you want and expect at a County Fair!

The Bull Thing - 4th Saturday:

Walk to end Alheimer's – a Saturday morning in September:

Rumble in the Jungle Fundraiser – a Saturday evening in mid-September:

Food and Auction to raise money for all Lincoln County High School Extracurricular Activities. Date changes to fit in with scheduled extracurricular activities.

Free Pumpkin Carving at the Creative Arts Center – a Friday close to Halloween:

The popular, fun, and Free Pumpkin Carving at the Creative Arts Center. Sponsored by the Creative Arts Council.

Missoula Children's Theatre – either October or November:

Missoula Children's Theatre is always a great show and so much fun for all the kids who participate. Sponsored by the Sunburst Foundation.

Sunburst Foundation's Toast of the Town Fundraiser – an evening in November:

Fundraiser for Sunburst Foundation featuring food, wine for sale and a silent auction of local art and goods. A wine glass made by a local potter comes with the price of donated admission.

Shop Small Day – Saturday after Thanksgiving:

Experience the beauty of Eureka's small town charm and support the local businesses that support our local community. Promoted by Eureka Rural Development Partners.

Decorate the Town for the Holidays – Saturday before Bazaar Weekend:

Help dress the town for the holidays. Dress yourself warmly. Sponsored by the Eureka Chamber of Commerce.

Bazaar Weekend- first full weekend in December:

A weekend of Holiday Bazaars from Trego through Eureka. Great time to get gifts for you and your loved ones. Check with visitNWmontana.com for a complete list of and map to all the Bazaars.

Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting – Friday night of Bazaar Weekend

Music, Santa and revelry as we welcome the Holidays with a parade and tree lighting. Sponsored by the Eureka Chamber of Commerce.

VFW’s Annual Christmas for the Kids Fundraiser - Saturday of Bazaar Weekend:

Raffles, prizes and lots of fun all day & into the night raising money to give needy kids a great Holiday. Sponsored by the Eureka VFW post 6786.
