June 11th, Saturday - Annual Amish Community Auction.  Starts at 9am. The West Kootenai Annual Amish Auction features machinery, log homes, gazebos, log furniture, cedar furniture, hand stitched quilts, wall hangings, wood carvings, & handcrafted items.  Lunch is served by the Amish community, featuring barbecued chicken, side dishes, soft drinks, ice cream, homemade pie and lots of bakery goods. Lunch is modestly priced.  

 June 11th, Saturday - Saddle Up for the 8th annual St. Jude's Ride. 10 am registration - Ride out at 11 am from the Swisher Lake trailhead. All proceeds go to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, for more information call 406-270-7156
