While not born and raised in Eureka, in the past 39 years it has become my adopted native home. I moved to Eureka with my husband, Dennis DeLong, in 1973. We bought property, built a house and raised our four children in this community. We have loved and appreciated every moment of being a part of this friendly and welcoming valley.
There are so many wonderful moments and places to experience in the Tobacco Valley. If you appreciate what nature has to offer, we have a plethora of lakes to swim in, to boat in and to recreate in. We have rivers to fish, canoe, raft and kayak. We have mountains to climb and valleys to explore. We are only an hour away from two world class ski areas, both in Canada and the US. We are only an hour and half from Glacier Park. We have places to car camp or back pack. We have roads and trails that are wonderful for mountain or road biking. We have great places to hunt. We truly are in Paradise.
As for me personally, I love the peacefulness that I find here. I love the trees and the mountains that surround us. I love our community and the causes that pull us together. We have a wonderful recycling center and community garden. We have an amazing downtown community for shopping and exploring. The river walk in town gives locals and visitors and opportunity to experience both nature and community simultaneously. The community is friendly and generous. This really is a special place filled with special people.
I would love to share Montana and the Tobacco Valley with anyone looking to find a place to call home or the perfect vacation getaway. I can also assist with vacation rentals if you would like to give our piece of paradise a try. My clients become my friends. We can work together to find what it is that would fit your budget and your dream.
